Why hello, my name is Lana. I was adopted as a puppy and my family decided they couldn't afford me anymore so they called the rescue and here I am. The breed mix I am is called a "porkie" and I find that offensive. Maybe because I am overweight but I am dieting and should return to around ten to twelve pounds when I am at my ideal weight.
I love to have my belly rubbed. Yes, just walk up to me and I roll right over for some good belly rubbin'. I like my people and enjoy hanging out with you. I am housetrained but will need to be groomed regularly. Right now I am eating the special diet food from the vet but that won't be forever.
I am spay, vaccinated and microchipped. The first step in adoption is to complete an application for me, Lana, at www.dogsasfamily.org. My adoption fee is 150.00. Soon I can be your companion, your friend and your furry child. I can hardily wait.
