Oh my, oh my, are you looking at me, Gracie? Nobody ever seemed to pay attention to me until I came to the rescue. I was found as a stray and brought to a rural shelter. I laid on a concrete floor shivering until Grandma came and got me. I had pneumonia, a tick borne illness and rotten teeth. After lots of love and care I am better.
I am not a spring chicken, maybe 8-10 years old. I believe I have a lot of living to still do. I weigh around four pounds and love to be carried. I have bad knees and sometimes they give out but I still want to go outside and potty. I can also use a potty pad inside if I need to.
There are no teeth left in my mouth and I feel so much better. I can eat dry or wet food and I don't need a lot. I am quiet most of the times unless I want something and then I make little noises like I was talking to you in my own language. Who can resist my eyes?
I am spay, vaccinated, current on heartworm and flea & tick preventative. I finished all my medicines and am well so I don't have any special medical needs. My adoption fee is 100.00. You can fill out an adoption application for Gracie at dogsasfamily.com. Do you have a quiet, loving retirement home for me?
