Oh, I am so glad you want to know about me. My name is Lady. I weigh 20 pounds and I am about four years old. I was found on a snowy day on a busy road by a kind man. No one could find my family so I came to the rescue and it saved my life.
Yes, it saved my life because I tested positive for heartworms and here at the rescue I got treatment for them. It only took a mosquito bite to get them but a lot more to get rid of them. I had to stay confined for a few months after the treatment but now I can play.
I just love life and everyone in it. I really love, love, love belly rubs! I like cats, dogs and the vet too. I am not afraid of anyone and will give you kisses if you want. There is one thing I sometimes get told not to do, jump on you. I just get so excited to see you I want your attention too. Maybe we could work on that together?
I have had my vaccinations, am micro chipped and it looks like I have been spay too. I am current on heartworm, flea and tick preventatives. I have a soft coat and will need to be brushed or I will shed a lot.
