Hey there, my name is Bosley but my family calls me Bobo.  I am a six year old Chihuahua. 

My previous family brought me home as a puppy.  They were very kind and thought food means love.      

I knew they loved me without overfeeding me, I wonder why they couldn’t see that?  Oh, well they surrendered me to the rescue because I couldn’t handle being so overweight and they could not stop feeding me.

I came here weighing 12.6 pounds and I should be six to eight pounds.  The rescue did some blood work and found out my thyroid wasn’t working right…well at least it isn’t right now.  So I started a eating a low calorie food and taking my thyroid medicine.  The last time I was at the vet I only weighed 10.2 pounds.  I feel like a new man!  I can run and play.

I am housetrained and have always lived inside.  I like the other dogs here but I don’t remember meeting a cat before.  They cleaned my teeth, updated my vaccinations and I am neutered.  My adoption fee is 150.00 to help cover some of my vet expenses.  You can go to www.dogsasfamily.com and fill out an adoption application for me, Bosley.  I could be your little man, your cuddle bug!
