Hey there.  My name is Rex.  I am about eighteen months old and I weigh a little over 42 pounds.  They think I am a husky mix.  Some nice people saw me get hit by a car while I was out checking out the city.  They stopped and helped me.   I am doing a lot better now.  Everyone looked for my family for a long time but I just don't know what happened to them. Now I am looking for a new one...a real family.

I am young and have lots of energy so maybe we could go walking, running, play ball or something.  The leash seems familiar and I can walk on one. I am pretty smart too and I am willing to learn anything you want to teach me. 

I like going outside in the fenced yard to run and play but please don't leave me out there.  I am a companion not a yard ornament.  I would love to go on car rides if you need the company.

Pet me or brush me and I am all yours.  I have a soft, fluffy coat and I do shed.  I really like your attention and lovin'.  I appear to be house trained and do ok in the crate when you have to leave me at home alone.
