Hello.  My name Is Kiki.  I am a Yorkshire Terrier with a long tail.  I am about a year old and weigh eight pounds.  I came to the rescue after I was found running down the street and was taken to a local animal shelter.  I waited there for my family but they never came so the rescue said I could come here and they would help me find a new home.  I am ready, are you?

   I was very matted and was groomed when I got here so please remember I will have to be groomed my whole life.  I love life and am a very happy girl.  Not much scares me and I like other dogs, well at least the ones about my size.  I love to play, run for a few minutes in the fenced yard and give you kisses.  Snacks and treats are great but I don’t want to eat too much and I could!  Your attention is what I crave the most.  I am pretty quiet and love to cuddle after some exercise. I do know to potty outside but there is no guarantee I might not have an accident.  Can you love me anyways?

   I have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.  I had a lot of baby teeth left and they pulled those too. My adoption fee is 250.00.  The first step in adopting me, Kiki, is to complete an adoption application at dogsasfamily.org.  Just dreaming of you and me…
